Bill Lewis, a Michigan native and long-time resident of Little Rock, knew at a very young age that he wanted to make his mark in life as an artist. His earliest ambition was to be a cartoonist. But following art school in Detroit and the prestigious Arts Student League of New York City, he chose a career in graphics design and art direction. His work is frequently accepted in juried competitions and has earned a number of awards. He is a featured artist in Carol Katchen’s book, “200 Great Painting Ideas”. In addition to private collectors across the country, Bill’s paintings have been acquired by several municipal and corporate entities as part of permanent collections.
