Debbie's inspiration comes from her travel experiences as well as nature with its glorious sunsets...dazzling mountains...green landscapes of Ireland...lapping of an effervescent wave...autumn in the Ozarks...regal birds and spirited animals that inhabit our earth...and the sturdy beauty of a sunflower. She says, “My main goal is to experiment with layered canvases using texture and bright colors to make an interesting painting.” The painting whispers its story to the viewer; if the viewer hears and sees this story, her goal has been achieved.
