Kay has always been inspired by her "Natural State"! She was raised in Hot Springs, attended Hendrix and raised her four children with her husband in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Having studied with artists across the country helped her develop her love for watercolor and contemporary approach to a variety of subjects. She is a member of the Mid-Southern Watercolorists and was granted the MSW Purchase Award in 2004 and received the 2005 Mayor's Honors Visual Art Award. Kay has been represented by Blue Moon Gallery in Hot Springs for the Past seven Years. She feels that it is the "surprise" of watercolor that encourages her to maintain her creativity. She is available for commission.
