Richard Bullard was born January 4, 1928 into the Arkansas arts and crafts culture and has been collecting craft skills ever since.

Richard has had a life long interest in art and crafts and believes that art should be limitless in its conception. His art experience is in sculpture, drawing, painting, print making, enameled and oxidized paintings on copper, photography, and constructions in metal, wood and paper.

His present art endeavor is pittura digitale or digital painting in the computer. He has studied the work of the Italian pittura digitale painters and has been influenced by their techniques

His art education includes night and weekend classes at the Arkansas Art Center, University of Arkansas at Little Rock, The Arts and Science Center in Pine Bluff, from 1969 through 1983.

He is the recipient of more than 40 awards in competitive art shows and has had 16 one-man shows and a number of group shows.
