Terry grew up in Benton, AR, and graduated from UAF in Engineering (BSIE) and Business (MBA), and served in US Army as a First Lieutenant. He worked for Alcoa in Benton for 30 years and retired as Marketing Director of Alcoa Chemicals. He has been doing art work all his life, but focused on art in 1996 exclusively when he retired. He is now 64 and enjoying the world of art as you can tell. He won The Arkansas Art Center Delta Award in 2003, and Creative Artist Award in the 2006 Texas Regional, and his work is in the collections of two major regional museums and private collections. He has 42 hours of studio art at UALR, and has studied at the Scottsdale Artists School, The Armory Art Center, Ringling School of Art and Design and in Europe in Provence, France and Florence, Italy.
